Women’s Wilderness

Brand Identity

Role

Lead Designer

Women’s Wilderness was a pro-bono project that Struck took on because it represents a cause that we believe in. I was honored to lead the design alongside a team of inspiring, hard-working women.

We created a brand identity that felt approachable and fresh with a nod to outdoor legacy brands to emphasize the client’s 20-year history of helping women find their power through wilderness therapy.

"When you consider the deep benefits of wilderness immersion in building confidence, resilience and just plain happiness, and realize many women and minorities never experience it—you just have to do something. Women’s Wilderness was the first organization in the country to do something and we wanted the world to know about it."

— Pauline Ploquin, President of Struck

"Women's Wilderness does so much more than simply help underserved communities get outside. Women's Wilderness creates meaningful space for girls, women, and the LGBTQ community to discover themselves, connect with each other, and discover the limitless promise of the earth and the outdoors.”

— Emily Kropp, Lead Strategist
